Country: Lebanon, occupied Palestinian territory, Syrian Arab Republic
Now in its seventh year, the Syria crisis has had a profound humanitarian, socio-economic, and political impact on Lebanon and its people. The country hosts 1.5 million Syrians besides several hundred thousand Palestinian refugees.
Despite humanitarian efforts, the needs of these affected communities are outpacing the resources and capacities of partners, and coping mechanisms of the most vulnerable are being severely tested.
