Highlights

• As the existing security telecommunications network requires to be upgraded in Syria, the Emergency Telecommunications Cluster (ETC) is working with the UN Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) and Telecommunications Security Standards (TESS) project manager to identify the most suitable technology.
  
• The ETC is assessing requirements in Syria and surrounding country in preparation of the 2019 inter-agency planning exercise.
