07-08 September 2018: In Bargadé village, Bartibougou department, Komondjari province, unidentified perpetrators ransacked an unnamed school for unspecified reasons. Source: aOuaga
08 September 2018: In Komandjari province, Est region, three primary schools and teacher housing units were burned down in an attack allegedly perpetrated by a coalition of Islamic State and Ansaroul Islam militants. Source: ACLED
Cameroon
03 September 2018: In Bafut town, Mezam department, Northwest province, unidentified perpetrators kidnapped the principal and six students of the Bafut Presbyterian College for unspecified reasons. The headmaster was released on 04 September, exhibiting marks of physical torture, while five students were released two days later. The sixth student remains held captive. 06 September 2018: In Mankon Town, Mezam department, Northwest province, unidentified perpetrators kidnapped the principal of the Bilingual High School, whilst he was preparing to chair a staff meeting and took him to an unknown destination.
