BEIRUT, 13th October, 2015 (WAM) - In line with the directives of the UAE leadership, the UAE embassy in Beirut has launched a campaign to provide nutritional supplements to the children of displaced Syrians in Lebanon.
The campaign, funded by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, has a target to distribute nutritional supplements to 7,000 children in Akkar and Wadi Khalid, in collaboration with the Relief and Humanitarian Aid Agency at Dar Al Fatwa.
The UAE Ambassador to Lebanon, Hamad Saeed Sultan Al Shamsi, said the UAE will continue to provide humanitarian aid to alleviate the suffering of the Syrian people.
