BEIRUT, Nov 17 (KUNA) Kuwait Red Crescent Society has continued delivering relief aid to Syrian refugees settled in the country.
Ahmad Al-Fegaan, an envoy of the society, told KUNA on Tuesday that 300 food rations and 300 cartons filled with detergents have been distributed to Syrian families in Dahr El Ahmar town located in the Rashaya District of the Beqaa Governorate, near the Syrian border.
He added the latest delivery was part of a chain of aid deliveries to around 7,000 syrian families. Number of Syrian refugees in Lebanon has reached more than one million most of them in northern Lebanon where a number of Kuwaiti charities are active.
Kuwait is the largest donor since the begining of the devastating crisis in syria. (end) mah.ha
