BEIRUT: The Khalifa Foundation and the UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) have distributed food aid to the families in Sidon, South Lebanon.
Khalifa Foundation supplied food parcels to over 6,000 Lebanese, Syrian and Palestinian families in Sidon, in coordination with the humanitarian and development aid office of the UAE embassy in Beirut.
The RCA distributed 200 Iftar meals to more than 200 needy families in Sidon.
The aid is part of a comprehensive programme to provide Ramadan food assistance in 65 countries around the world.
