- Al Suliti, “We prioritize providing the displaced Syrians with shelters since it is almost winter and the number of displaced people has recently increased.”
500 Syrian families benefited from ‘Mukhayyam Al Rahma’ (Mercy Camp) Project implemented by QC, which does not spare any effort to help the Syrians.
Considered to be part of ‘Sanad Ahl Al Sham’ campaign, this project is implemented for the benefit of the displaced Syrian families living in the countryside of Hama near the Turkey-Syria borders.
Dignity Protection
The displaced families first lived as groups in one tent, 5 families and more in the same tent. Some other families took shelter under the shades of cars. As a result, QC established 500 tents for the benefit of 500 families who were living under these circumstances.
It is QC’s main goal to alleviate the sufferings of the displaced Syrians living in Syria through providing them with tents. Orphans, widows and families without breadwinners are QC’s high priority.
Because of the importance of having a home, a shelter; QC prioritized the implementation of shelter projects. Now that it is winter, the displaced Syrians are in deep need for protection from rain.
Deep Needs
Mr. Mohammed Al Saliti, QC’s ‘Sanad Ahl Al Sham’ Campaign Supervisor, said that QC has proven its commitment to helping and aiding the displaced Syrians. He pointed out the fact that everything QC does is to make the Syrians’ lives better.
He emphasized the fact that QC is prioritizing its aid projects for the displaced in Syria, taking into consideration their deep need for supplies. More than 213,000,000QR were spent on the aids sent to inside Syria. Plus, the percentage of projects implemented there is 67% of the total number of projects. In addition to the implementation of health projects, QC has already implemented agricultural projects in order to help the displaced Syrians achieve self-sufficiency.
Al Saliti added that QC will be exerting more efforts to meet the needs of the people most suffering in cooperation with its partners and those interested in the displaced Syrians in Syria affairs.
